SmartSketches was demonstrated at the Fraunhofer Booth, including SBR,
GIDES++, SBRGIDES++, SketchAR, during EUROMOLD in Frankfurt, Germany.

The paper "Mixing Images and Sketches for Retrieving Vector
Drawings" was presented at the 7th Eurographics Workshop on Multimedia
(EGMM'04), Nanjing, China, October 2004.
Simultaneously, SBR and GIDES++ was demonstrated to several research groups.

and presented SmartSketches to LSI/USP (Sao Paulo).

We have organized the Eurographics Workshop on Sketch-Based
User Interfaces and Modeling. The workshop took place on August 30 and
August 31 in Grenoble, France. It was attended by 48 participants who discussed 21
papers. The technical program can be consulted here. The venue
was a great success. As a result, the Eurographics Association has created a
Working group on Sketch-Based User Interfaces
and Modeling. The next venue is planned to take place in Dublin Ireland,
just before Eurographics 2005.
